If so you are in luck!!

Fines are being refunded and points are being cancelled.

Phone 1890 304060: if you wait for an operator you should be connected to the Fines Office in Thurles. Just say you understand that those Loughsallagh fines are being refunded.

What they will tell you to do is post a copy of your receipt of points and a copy of your licence back to Thurles and just wait for your cheque and confirmation!

Sorry if this has been posted here already, I do realise this was 3 months ago, I've known about it about a month and a half and am only getting around to sending mine back now!!

Well I actually don't know that.

I was done and I was speaking to the lady in the office about getting a refund, and I was going to ask, but then I never did.

I have heard both of the following:

The name of the road was either recorded incorrectly or mispelled

The road was incorrectly zoned at 50kmph but it's not residential therefore should be 60kmph.

I would be inclined to go with the second one as being a 50kmph zone it is far too slow a speed to be going on such an uninterrupted stretch.
