See RTE have cancelled "The Panel". Pity as I did enjoy the show even though it did suffer with egoism at times. Still it was quite funny overall. Suppose it fits with the RTE modus operandi of when it is doing well - cancel it!!!

Possibly that talentless toad Craig Doyle killed it

Preferred it when Colin Murphy presented it or of course Dara O'Briain. Alway thought Murphy never really looked comfortable back in the role of a panellist when Doyle took over.

    Pity

Wasn't the same after Dara O'Briain left, Doyle was just unfunny, kept expecting him to break into a UPC advert sitting there.

It's a very long time since it was doing well...

I found it made me cringe 80% of the time after O'Brien left it to be honest.
That token girl was pretty awful whoever she was. I found it very self indulgent & not really up to scratch.

Was afraid to say that for fear of sounding sexist! :P

At the very start it was grand.

The "comedians" on it by and large (excluding say Ó Briain, Bishop (Liverpool guy) and Murphy) were crap and annoying, particularly Maxwell and Fiona Looney.:P

Only when Podge and Rodge were on it a few years ago was there a really good episode.

The show died a horrible death with Dara O Brians departure.
