Does your father know you feel this way about him? :p

Unless you have to live with him, there's an easy solution. It will leave you with time to worry about more important things too.

I'm afraid with that guff, you've lost any authority whatsoever.

Well it's true isn't it... He could barely contain himself when "her majesty the Queen" came over .

I love the way he can't talk about a TV show without mentioning how great his Sky multi room digibox is, he never reads out my texts though "shut the **** up about your mixers". He never reads them but I know he gets them.

The man is a fool. But in Ireland, we like our fools (Dunphy, O'Connor, Hook, Tubridy, Kenny, Duffy et al.) Heaven only knows why.

Visit seemed to be deemed a success by most Irish folk, republic still intact, enjoyed it myself and passport confirms I'm still Irish.

I like him on the radio. He doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is, at least he's honest about that and doesn't try to speak for other people.
And his arguments with taht American repulican fella are feckin hilarious

Well in the old days every village had an idiot, we just modernised and moved the top class ones into the media.

Most people were indifferent.. Some people jizzed in their pants and insisted that "her majesty the queen" be called by her full title.

Hooks a bit of a caricature of himself, guff merchant no doubt but he also has a strong social conscience and is a far better radio broadcaster than sports analyst.

I hate the way he cuts across people, it's as arrogant. And is real 'entitled old person' behaviour. Bar that I think he's okay.
