    I can think of few people that annoy me more than George Hook..His snivelling west britishness, political correctness, repetitiveness, everything about the man gets on my wick.

    The man is a fool. But in Ireland, we like our fools (Dunphy, O'Connor, Hook, Tubridy, Kenny, Duffy et al.) Heaven only knows why.

    I like him on the radio. He doesn't pretend to be anything other than what he is, at least he's honest about that and doesn't try to speak for other people.
