40ft or bull island are your best bets. I'd love some lake sugestions tho, there are a few lakes close enough to dublin but the general thinking is that most are dangerous, I am not sure why or if this dates back over the years where children may have drown in them.

I don't know of any lakes where people swim.

    I usually go to:

    - Seapoint
    - 40ft (sandycove)
    - Killiney beach

Seapoint + Killiney are convenient on the dart line if you dont have your own transport.

Does anyone swim out where the half moon hut is on the south wall? I know its a bit of a trek but looks like a nice enough spot.
