Did ye happen to meet Richard Dawkins, and if so what's he like in person?

What was he doing over here, if you don't mind me asking?

I met him and spoke to him a number of times at the convention here in Dublin. He's a bit of a grumpy sort and is obviously somewhat uncomfortable with the attention he receives. He didn't mind signing books though.

I met him in the big top circus in Listowel and got to ask him an audience question. I said something along the lines of ''I wholeheartedly agree with you and I'm an atheist but do you believe that even though religion is incredulous do you think it has potential to do good overall in terms of consolation and tribal unity?'' (I knew what he was going to say but everyone else were asking such bland questions hahaha. He said something along the lines of '' I don't believe it is good overall and neither do you and even if it was I don't care about that , I care if it's either true or not.'' He was very friendly in his reply. When I met him for the book signing I said '' I hope I didn't bore you with my question'' jokingly and he gave a little laugh and hurried on to the next book. I don't think he likes book signing hahahahahaha. Also met Kevin Myers and Billy Keane from the independent and they're both gentlemen. So all in all Richard is a nice man and was polite but was sort of rushed at the same time.
