Disruption of Electricity Supplies - Skerries area

    Received from Skerries CA:
    A programme of work has begun in the town and hinterland of Skerries,
    Co. Dublin involving the necessary replacement of some ESB poles.
    This work will continue for approx. four weeks and will involve
    weekday and sometimes weekend work.
    The Gardai, the Emergency Fire and Ambulance Services, Fingal Co.
    Council, Residents and the owners of Business Premises are notified in
    advance and will have access at all times.
    Dublin Bus and AA Roadwatch (radio announcements) will be advised.

    In the areas where poles are being replaced, Residents and Traders are
    advised when the electricity supply will be disconnected to homes and
    business premises.
    A supervised Traffic management system will be put in situ for the
    duration of the work (approx eight hours on the day). Traffic and
    Parking Restrictions will be necessary in the interests of public
    safety.
    Dublin Bus customers will be advised to use Bus Stops on adjacent
    streets.

    Motorists are requested not to park motor vehicles on roads and
    streets where poles are being replaced from 07.00 hours on that day.
    Pedestrians are advised to avoid walking near or under ESB poles,
    wires and Tower Hoists on ESB trucks.
