Aisling Daly traveled to Cleveland, Ohio and beat the 8-0 jessica eye to win the NAAFS Worlds Womens 125lb title by RNC in the 2nd round in front of about 3000 hostile fans in 30C heat! Ireland has a World Champion!! :D

And in Liverpool on the same night on OMMAC 1-1 Artem Lobov went up a weight class and took on the highly touted and unbeaten Kaobon fighter Uche Ihiekwe
From a live report on OMMAC:
Artem Lobov is the prospect killer. With his bizarre mix of Wincobank boxing and aggressive jits- he Triangled the highly rated Kaobon fighter early in the third. Uche looked to have solved the puzzle in the first- slowing the unorthodox footwork with leg kicks. Lobov hung in there and went for takedowns- rather than being a sign of desperation- these were the key to his success. Ihiekwe looked uncomfortable on his back and Lobov clearly took the second round. When the end came in the third- Uche screamed with disappointment. Back to the drawing board for an undoubtedly talented fighter. For Artem Lobov- anything can happen when this guy’s in town.

that brings the SBG Pro MMA Team record to 23-2-1 this year, i dont know of a team in the UK or Europe with that level of success.

Well done SBGi. Does this now make Ais the first Irish person to hold a "world" title?
