    Was watching this video:

Donnacha o'dea gets dealt pocket jacks
Dan Harrington gets dealt pocket queens

    flop:
    J (Hearts) Q (Hearts) 2 (Hearts)

    turn:
    3 (Diamonds)

    River:
    2 (Spades)

Thus giving Harrington a higher full house. But the commentator says "O'dea needs one card only"

Am I right to believe that if the river was NOT the 2 of spades, and did not pair the board, but was another heart. It would of been a split pot? as both players had not hearts in their hole cards and played the board.

For this the commentator actually saves there is only one card to save him, this being the Jack of Clubs thus giving him quad Jacks.

Also if the turn and river were both hearts, then yes it would be a split pot. But the way you say if the river was a heart then this would mean there is only 4 hearts out giving nobody a flush, therefore the 3 Queens winning the hand.
