    Hey people,

Just changed the second fuel filter in my 2 ltr TDI A4 within 8 months or 7-8k miles (because it was kinda missing when accelerating in low revs) and the diesel around the filter was pure black.

Is it normal for such carbon build up so soon?

And not that you need telling but chage your fuel filter after you change diesel. Let your tank run almost empty before a new fill to get rid of as much dirt as possible.

Did you saw open the filter for a looksee? If not it would be an idea to do so before having a word with your diesel retailer, keeping in mind it is a filter.
