Hmm quick question regarding golfing monday!

Ok, so called Carlow GC yesterday and asked for tee time for 2 of us mon morning, he said ok I have a time at 10.20am, grand il take that,job done. Just checked my confirmation there and it says this.............

Open team of 4??? Are my friend and I in a comp that we dont know about? lol
The guy on the phone said nothing about a comp or a 4 ball etc? Mega confused :S

Yes.

But with only the two of you, you will probably be DQ'd from the competition as it will most likely have a requirement for each player to count on a certain number of holes.

Sheesh, sounds dodgy couldnt officially take part in the comp though as we've no handicaps right?

So you are going to be playing with 2 other people in a 4 man team event where you can't take part.

They will want be expecting to be in the comp but they can't now because of you.

ring up and cancel or tell carlow the situation otherwise it is not fair on your playing partners
