Interesting.
Even before the fall of France in 1940, Nazi planners had completed a design for a Common Market and European Union which would ensure Germany's post-war domination of the continent. The method was to be step-by-step 'harmonization' of trade, taxation and currency, leading to final integration into a single unified state. Hitler's Director of European Planning, Werner Daitz, had his outline for post-war Europe finished, signed and dated on May 31, 1940 - while British troops were still doing battle against the Wehrmacht in northern France!

Daitz recognized that the best way to unite Europe under German rule was first to achieve regulation of the continents's trade, then to 'harmonize' taxes and finally to create a common currency. Money supply being controlled from one central bank, the single currency would effectively lock all countries into one unified state run from Berlin.

Hitler's Finance Minister, Walther Funk, explained to fellow-ministers on July 22, 1940, that after the war Germany would organize a free exchange of goods within Europe - preferably including Britain, but if necessary without. Alongside a customs union, said Funk, there would be a rational division of labour and an integrated structure for credit and balance of payments. Agriculture would be coordinated and so would wages, prices and taxes.

Funk set up a working group to finalize detailed plans for a European Economic Union.

All the Nazi's went to work for NASA back in the 40's. There are some very deep roots in almost all world wide organisations and projects - the Nazi's designed what we know refer to as the UFO. It's not from out of this world, it is a human creation.

Hitler was also one of the first people to introduce anti-smoking campaigns.

So... does the smoking ban have its roots in Nazism, discuss.

With Germany ruling over most of Europe now with their spineless French counterparts, I would say we will be saluting some sort of German flag in the future.

dressed like a sacred cow ,
visions of swastikas in my head ,plans for everyone
It's in the whites of my eyes .

So?

Lots (lots) of things took their roots from Nazism. Particularly lots of war related stuff. Most of which is still in use. Hitler also pushed forward the Autobahn.

Whats this bullsh*t that every idea the Nazis ever had was evil etc? It's not as though if I drive on the Autobahn that makes me an anti-semite.

Now do you meant 'get' in the inform sense, or 'get' as in the way the EU got Martin Luther King and Jesus sense?

....no, but the way you shoot out the window at Mercedes whilst screaming 'Jew-car' is a bit worrying.

Wow I've never seen a thread before where the actual topic itself was Godwin'ed as opposed to just some point someone made.

To be honest, any genuine joined up thinking in this thread would give it a dignity it just doesn't fucking deserve.

I asked AIPAC and the JDL about your post, and they are now going to sue you for anti-semetic comments on the internet.
You are also banned from ever entering Israel.

How come Nazis/Nazism can't be discussed without some cabbage coming along and piping up about Godwins law?.

Wow thats interesting, I always had my suspicions. The European Court of Justice has repeatedly ruled that EC law is supreme to even national constitutions, did the member states ever sign up to that? No mention of it in the treaties. And there is an inherent democratic deficit within the EU. The Parliament is the only truly democratic institution and significantly has possibly the least contribution in the law making of the EU. And if EC law is superior to ours, well I guess that means that not only our sovereignty, but also our democracy is being encroached upon. Fascism?

Godwin's Law:

This thread fulfills the criteria.

This thread fulfills the criteria.

Not really, no. Godwins law refers to Nazism being brought into discussions that have nothing to do with Nazism.

I think the Nazis got better with their techniques this time, all uppity with their human rights etc! Too bad Hitler had syphilis or he definitely would have copped this one!
