A reasonably sized one, now - like those used in classrooms.
    Any ideas?

Preferably somewhere local, if possible - hence posting in the Galway forum...

Buy a sheet of while acoplast or glazed mdf, 8' x 4 ' , cut to whatever size you want, way cheaper. Exact same surface material.
Any builders providers will have it.

Cheers, but that one's only tiny. There's a 2m x 1.2m online for 200e, might go with that.

I wouldn't have thought mdf would have had the same surface material at all, but in any case it'd weigh a ton, and I'd like to be able to move it around.

    Cheers for the replies though.

White glazed MDF has.Glazed chipboard ( acoplast) would be lighter.

I've never looked for one, but if it was me I'd try:

    Easons
    Powells
The Office Shop up near Corrib Shopping Centre (ie Debenhams, M&S) - it used to be on the corner, moved down a couple of doors recently

The Office Shop beside Irwins Funeral Home, or Kellys in Nile Lodge.

If I remember right, they had a few in Mr. Price down Terryland retail park, cheap enough.
