    Hey everyone,
I'm a 16 year old student who has just finished Transition Year and I am looking for a part-time job. I know there are very few jobs out there at the moment for obvious reasons, but it's not going to stop me from trying! I have my CV written up, but I was wondering what else could I put on it to make it look good? And my second part of the question is how do I actually get a job? How did everone else get their first part-time job?

    Try all the local Shops/supermarkets

If your in a city, firstly try pounding the pavement with cv's.

Try coffee shops/book shops, everywhere really

Aye,me thinks thats some kind of publicity stunt.

OP,you are going to find it terribly hard to get a part time job given your age and the restrictions on the hours you can work.

How the hell are you even allowed to get social if you have that much savings, they took my measly 50e into account for god sake :L

He had been working in Australia and was able to come home with a few thousand in savings, apparently.
