I bought it from Argos for €205, temporarily reduced from €230. It's only €209 there now

I know you're probably asking about Irish retail prices but with the Dollar at 1.45 the USA is currently the cheapest, even in NYC with sales tax at 8.875% it's cheaper than Canada which is sometimes the cheapest but not at the moment because of the weak dollar.

I thought so myself and bought one.Was in another store and they quoted 229.I mentioned the Argos deal as per OP and the guy was hopping.Ranted on a bit which smelt like an A++le cartel type arrangement>so dropped into HMV on my way over.00 euro + the kit that I did not realise about till I got home,so pretty pleased.

iPod Touch G3 and G4 will both run iOS5 so he's hardly gong to be obsolete any time soon.

    That's a sortware upgrade, i'm expecting a hardware upgrade with Gen5. it's only 3 months.

Look at it this way, there is a huge difference between G3 and G4

My daughter was looking to but a 32g one today in HMV Newbridge with the offer that ends but they are sold out of this version and the offer ends the 15/6.
Going to ring Liffey Valley tomorrow to see if they have any stock.
Any other recommendations on where to get them for a deal?
The docking station isn't a bother as they can be had better branded for less secondhand anyway.
What about a price match offer elsewhere?
