Looking For A Laptop Recommendation

I ran a search looking for threads similar to my needs but just couldn't find one which had what was important to me and wasn't a year old.
I've been looking for a laptop to suit my needs for a while and I would be very interested to hear some suggestions you may have.

Budget: Around €1500 - €1750. I am eligible for student discounts if one is available.

Intended use: Internet, E-Mail, Programming, Web Development, Productivity Software (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), College Work - Electronic Engineering Degree.

Mobility: I need a very light laptop as I will be carrying it while cycling and walking around as well as a lot of books and/or paper at the same time.

Warranty: I'm not worried by this at the moment.

What Operating System do you use? It doesn't matter what operating system comes pre-installed.

What I need: Full size keyboard, Long battery life, Light and portable, Wifi (Essential).

What I would like: SSD Storage (I don't need a lot 100GB should suffice), RAM (2GB is fine, more is always nice), Processor (Anything that won't slow me down majorly but if it is an Intel Core iX series please no i3's), Durable.

If you need anything more to help me please ask. I look forward to reading your suggestions.
