I've been receiving Saorview from mullaghanish but when i turned on tv yesterday all the channels were gone. I did a rescan and still nothing.

Anyone know what the problem is?

What channel (frequency) does your TG4 come in on?

It was a weak enough signal using indoor uhf aerial so i'm thinking it is something to do with the clonakilty relay(which is only a few miles away).

What channel (frequency) does your TG4 come in on?

I'm not sure. How do I check?

Are you using an indoor aerial for DTT or an outdoor aerial?

Clonakilty is Ch48 UHF for DTT.

Mullagh is Ch21 UHF for DTT.

I presume your "rabbits ears" are UHF not VHF.

okay put it beside the window cill and manually scan those 2 channnels.

what equipment are you using ? box or a tv ?

you should have some sort of on screen signal when you manually are on those channels.

the above should have read signal meter running accross the screen showing signal stength. Moving the aerial will show on screen for correct postioning.

I'm picking up analogue from ch48 but no digital channels.

It's weird cos two days ago the dtt was fine.

What analogue channel are you receiving on Ch 48?

Your local DTT transmitter could be down for Mux 2 upgrade work.

Several smaller transmitters have been reported here off-air over the last week or so e.g. Glanmire, Castletownbere etc.
