Use a manifold system to the copper tails that way the only joints are at the rad or use qualpex to the rads and use snap on chrome covers on the tails which leaves no joints in the floors. Make sure you insulate the pipes to prevent heatloss and if using compression fittings tape the joint to prevent the concrete degrading them.

additionally if using qualpex under the floorboards make sure you support it from sagging with timber battons.

thanks DONEDL and JOEYTHELIPS. will use a manifold and run all radiator pipes back to it. will prob use the compression joints in concrete floor connecting qual pex to copper tails. will tape joints after testing pipework. would some 50mm kingspan insulation on top of compression elbows be a good idea?
