    For those of you lucky to have broadband here is a nice video about broadband in Holland and the UK.It highlights the broadband successes in the UK and the Netherlands in contrast to the US broadband quality and price issues.
    Not sure if using the UK as a paragon of success is a good thing, when they are years behind Holland (but then we are years behind the UK)

    Yes, droolworthy stuff; and nice to see a really articulate FTTH supporter like Herman Wachter just laying out the facts on the benefits.

    Incidentally AT&T claimed in their response that
    Broadband (which in the US means speeds of at least 4 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up) is available to over 92% of all households.
    And our own regulator has claimed elsewhere that
    DSL broadband speeds have also been rising. In two years most customers have moved with speeds up to* lOMBs now becoming the norm.



    * Now you know why Comreg won't act against misleading broadband advertising.
