Prob not what your on about but I've started cooking the spaghetti directly in the bolanaise instead of a spearate pot.

Its simple and works great if you follow these steps.

Break spag into halfs or thrids so you can submerge it.
Make sauce with extra water and stock as it'll absorb some.
Only put in well after the sauce has reached the boil.

less mess saves you having to clean separate pot
