What is the light in our existence

What is this, the light that gives us the ability to see, smell, touch and hear our existence? What created it? Is this light turned off theoretically speaking when we die? The world before us in all its supposed normality, the reality we define as real and yet science tells us today that it is not real. The light which also allows us to perceive our reality through our conscious awareness, also deceives us into accepting that we are a part of an elaborate reality, with laws constraining us within this reality..... chains, the very emblems of materialism which bind us to our imprisoned state of been, at least so our ego believes.

What is the light of existence and of reality, what is the light that allows us to view our world, and how do we understand a world without this light?

It seems you are describing what I and others would consider to be the soul, In this world seemingly our souls are mixed and passed onto our children, but with regards to being deceived into accepting reality, Well clearly I dont have a clue but its highly suspicious to me, There must be some purpose to it all.
