I am waiting for registered letter from Hong Kong for last 2 weeks. Today finally I can see note on anpost.ie :

ITEM RECEIVED DUBLIN MAIL CENTRE DUBLIN 12 03-Jun-11

So I suppose it should be in my local post office tomorrow but there is no post delivery on Saturday, however post offices are opened. Would it be worth a try to go to the post office and ask them if I can get it?

It wont be in the post office,it will be in the sorting office id say.You will get it Tuesday.

Yeah do, they will just give you the keys to the mail centre and you can let yourself in.

tell them you have code 1 clearance in the post office and 7 posts on boards they'll give it to you then

Some sorting offices work on Saturday's, processing mail it would be worth going down there to see if it is there. Take ID with you
