    Hi there,
I was in Howth this morning around 9.00am and I saw, well I don't know what I saw but I thought it might have been three jets streaking across the sky over Dublin Bay. I'm not sure if any of you saw it but I managed to get a photo. I would be interested in your opinions on it.

They look like short contrails. I can see one right now from almost the same location. What direction did they head?

That's three aircraft contrails I'm afraid ,theres something like the "M50" in the sky ,an aircraft corridor if you will, that takes most international flights from the USA over Irish airspace, you should see what it looks like at 5am.

They were heading East, that photo was taken with me looking out over Howth Harbour and into Dublin bay. A bit off course for America??

I saw them too on Thursday last.

I was convinced they were meteorites (or something like that)

I was confused as they appeared to be heading towards the sea (approx 45degree angle). Also strange that there were 3 together.

Never saw anything like that before...

btw The 3 'streaks' in the sky that I saw was over the sea near lambay island. It was Thursday evening at about 17.45

I saw a lovely meteor in the clear moonlit sky last night, around midnight in Dublin.

If it was one, they are very hard to see in a moonlit sky as it's so bright and they only last 2 seconds max.

I couldn't see a single star last night where I was last night with constant overcast.
