hi, we have a raised bed percolation area in one corner of back garden and just wanted to check about planting on this? Was thinking of putting a few willow there and wildflowers, to start with would this do any damage underneath

Also does anyone have any ideas/websites/pictures about landscaping the garden to help this blend in, its maybe 20ft square roughly and to one corner of the back garden, which is large; about 100ft x 60ft.
or indeed any landscaping websites to get ideas would be great

It would be best to stick to species with shallow rooting systems.. My understanding is that willow in particular will invade the percolation drainage pipes and cause you no end of blockages...
Some professional advice would be a good idea as if you have problems with drainage in the percolation down the line it will be expensive to repair..
