This weekend Beach lifeguards are starting their shifts so if you wish to stay safe during your open water workout pick up a beach with a lifeguard hut on it, preferably quite one so you can have full attention of a lifeguard, who knows maybe if you ask them really nice they will launch the 'boat' and stay somewhere close to you ;) don't be afraid to ask for such a thing, just don't mention my name ;-P if you will offer help in towing the boat down to the water during the low tide your chances of success are even greater :D just remember that we are a bit busy before 12 and after 6pm with setting up and packing up ;-P

I will be on Portrane-Brook this weekend. Ask for Kris if you need any help with your open water swimming
