Lyons Volvo signage has just gone up on a newly built showroom on the site next to the Ford showroom.

Must be shifting stock if they're investing in a new (albeit small and prefabricated) showroom.

Good news in the motor trade for a change at the moment.

They took on (were "awarded") the Volvo franchise after Elm motors "repositioned" themselves as Fiat dealers.
The temporary showroom in the retail park next door (beside wickes) was always just that....temporary.
If they had not built the new showroom Volvo would have found a new dealer.
A lot of these newer showrooms are designed for multi-use, if the dealership doesn't work out they can rent out the premises as a retail outlet for furniture, electrical retail, etc.

Frankly they needed the dedicated space. All the volvo's were piling up in the Ford Section because they had nowhere to store them outside the Temporary dealership.

Good luck to them because the way Volvo S60 prices are right now THEY WILL need it.

They have gone down the same road as Skoda with many many previous models left over(worldwide)
