    Hi,

Does anyone having any info on the Vodaphone or O2 Business Partner Programs.

I'm not really interested in selling mobiles as I know that's a very tough market with small margins. I am interested in getting new sign-ups/subscribers to the smartphone market. Would they offer recurring commissions on new subscribers?

    Thanks
    Melt

I don't really know the current scene, but the networks like to run their own retail. They have partners in towns they can't service directly.

The exceptions are the existing big retailers, who they work with, like Carphonewarehouse and DSG (PCworld/Curry's/Harvey Norman). This is a complicated relationship.

When it comes to smartphones, the big issue for them is dealer fraud, i.e., the dealer getting a load of subsidised phones, which get signed up for contracts but that never actually end up getting used on the network, as a result of which the phone company loses money on the phone. Not saying that you would do that, but it is extremely difficult for the operators to manage.
