    RICE it first.

Then when swelling goes, alternate heat and cold circa every 5 mins or so. This helps get blood circulating to and from it to flush it out. Repeat as many times a day as you can. Good diet high in protein will always help improve recovery time, as will plenty of sleep.

Physio will help massively too imho.

RICE, I assume you mean rest?.

Cold as in an ice pack? Where could I buy one? Tesco?.

Been to physio and got my stretches, but need a bit more assistance.....scan showed a ligament strain around the knee, can't remember terminology.

    Thanks
