Non oily suncream?

Not really sure where to put this so feel free to move it mods

I am looking for a good, non oily suncream. I have red hair and very fair skin that burns easily so I need at least factor 50. I used Boots brand Soltan (yellow/orange bottle) before on my face and it really made it very oily and I got a lot of spots from it (I'm 15 btw). Otherwise it's fine for my body.

Can anyone recommend a good suncream for your face that is not oily and is factor 50?

Also, if you put on suncream can you put make up on over that? I know that most have spf of maybe 20 or around that but I need more so I can't really miss out on the suncream.

I was going to post a thread asking the same thing! I'd also like to hear any recommendations. I've used La Roche Posay fluid extreme on my face in the past an found it quite good under make-up

But, I cannot find a SPF 40/50 for the body that's not sticky and greasy.( The fluid extreme is too expensive to be using all over the body)

I use the Ambre Solaire - The clear spray, not the lotion. It is clear and absorbs straight away, and is not sticky - your skin is dry and non shiny. It also lasts quite well in between dips in the pool/sea.

I am extremley fair skinned and never burn, have been using it for about 7 years now.

it's factor 40, brilliant under make up or on its own as its a kind of beigey (?) colour, non oily/greasy/sticky, doesn't slide off if you get hot and sweaty and a little goes a long way.

ETA: forgot to say, if you put on suncream onto your face of say SPF 20 and then put make up on over it with SPF 25, you don't end up with protection of SPF 45, the SPF will be of whatever you put on last, so in that case it would be SPF 25.
