Because it's likely made in China for a tenner.

I wasn't putting it down. Just that most Aldi/Lidl stock is pointed at the occasional user. Most of the tools I have came from one or the other of them.

Bougth this about two weeks ago in Limerick just happened to spot them in aldi, have it mounted in the shed infront of the new drinks cooler I got (thanks griz :D)

The single line will lift 125kg and the double will lift 250kg ( if I ever have to lift a deer over 125 kg I'd be very happy)

Don't think the motor.would last in a workshop under heavy use but for the odd deer over half a year it's well up to the job!

i have one and its great for for fallow but i hung a read on it and it struggled to lift it on the single line. the deer only weighed 67kg. if you were shooting read allot you might need to use a stronger hoist.

great bit of kit for the money
