    Hi
I am working at a fiat punto 2005 the wiper motor stops working every now and then I am checking the wiring at the connector there is 4 wires.
One is the negative what should the others be?
Can you explain the parking switch I know it's in the motor.
I worked on motors before but not in Auto's
    Thanks Jim.

The wiper motors on fiat puntos are prone to breaking

    You'd need
    1 negative
2 feed from wiper switch - positive
3 direct feed (not from switch) - positive - to internal switch allowing motor to continue to run to park position

    4 dont know !

    polarities may be the reverse

get a meter out and see !

Quick question that I'm hoping someone may know the answer too. My daughter's yaris is on its last legs and we want to switch her on to my car a Honda hrv 1.6 . Would it be best to switch her on as named driver and would it be much more expensive then her current insurance?

Please don't resurrect old threads to ask questions. You can start a new thread if you wish.

Also there is now a motor insurance forum, if you'd like to post there.
