Could anyone recommend a wedding planner for a small wedding on a budget?

    Hi there,

I'm genuinely not trying to be smart but - don't waste your money on a wedding planner. You can do it all yourself. Join a wedding forum like Weddings Online or indeed here on Boards and get Googling! Haggle haggle haggle and you WILL be able to have your dream wedding on whatever your budget is.

The girls on WOL are very friendly and FULL of information, genuinely, you will be able to do it. Good luck!

I'd say the same- YOU'RE the best wedding planner for your wedding.
Granted, if you have loads of money, you could afford to spend loads on hiring someone but every decision is gonna be yours and your man's. Cut out the middle (wo)man.

I'm not even engaged yet but I spend so much time reading threads on Boards and looking up venues people mention, that me and my partner pretty much have our wedding planned already.

Ask questions here, people are so helpful and there are loads of great ideas to be found.
