ipod touch hardware problem

god lads i need help badly. i was charging my sisters ipod touch and plugged it out without thinking - problem was it was downloading an update at the same time and now it seems to be fcuked. i tried restoring it to factory settings but a little window pops up saying - the ipod could not be restored. an unknown error…

Try restoring it using recovery mode. Follow the steps here:
