Assuming you don't have a large amount of spuds, get yourself out of bed, EARLY, and with a garden hose, spray the stalks with water, to wash off the frost, BEFORE, the sun starts to melt it.
The damage, is done to the spuds, when the sun rises and shines on the frosted plants, bringing a sudden change in temperature. Getting the frost off with cool / cold water, prevents this happening.:p
