I'm doing the B62 Hons degree in IT with the OU. It is great as you can stretch it out as long as you want based on your situation. I have no problem studying at home (or going to the library with my books and laptop if the Xbox is trying to seduce me)..

You can do up to 120 points per year (360 needed for an hons degree) but you should be aware that this equates to full time study. I find that doing 90 points per year across two modules is a perfect workload and takes the same time as a typical 4 year, full time degree. You should be aware that you would not get any government grants or back to education allowance unless it is part of the government's new "springboard" initiative. And it is very expensive. What are you planning to study?
