Could I be pregnant?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone has any idea about this. Now I know that people give their opinions here and that I will need to go to a doctor, but I thought I would ask. I stupidly had unprotected sex on the 18th of May. The following morning I got my period. It was a normal period. Then just today, the 2nd of June, I got my period again. I am reading all this stuff on the internet about the possibility of it being implantation and I am getting worried. So I was wondering if people have any experience of this and if there is a possibility I am pregnant. I have never had unprotected sex before, it was a stupid mistake and won't happen again, I would just be really grateful of some advice. Thanks.

Having unprotected sex means you could be pregnant I'd suggest you to go to your doctor. Normally your period comes every 28 days but when you're stressed it can become irregular and happen 14 days.

Best thing you can do is spend the 10 to 15 euros in a chemist and get a test.

There is only one egg released per month. If you had sex one night and got a period the next day, that means that that months egg had been released. The next egg won't begin to come down for at least 14 days (ovulation)...and the sperm from the unprotected sex cannot survive 14 days.

It's highly unlikely you're pregnant OP.

Implantation bleeding tends not to be similar to a period - it tends to be brownish/light (apologies if too graphic) so if that period you got yesterday is 'normal', it is highly probably that it an irregular bleed.

Having said all of the above, there's a guy on the parenting forum who told us his wife found out she was pregnant at 35 weeks, and 10 days later she had the baby!!!!!

Take the above advice and take a test OP.

It is possible to ovulate more than once in a cycle, but unusual.

The timing of ovulation can also vary.

Also stress and also air travel can screw up your regular cycle.

The only way to know, OP is to get a test from the chemist. My bet would be you arent though, given what you said.

I was wondering if i could ask a similar q....the same thing happened me, i had my period, went back on the pill, then about a week MAYBE week and a half into my pill packet we broke up i thought for good but we got back together 3 days later ( i know... ) had stopped taking my pill when we broke up, didnt see the point, didnt think id be having sex again for a while...

but then i had missed 3 pills so i STUPIDLY took them all at once...another period came either later that week or the next week, cant remember but DEFINITLY too soon (and im always regular)...stopped taking pill thinking it had something to do with this...2 weeks later had another 'period'?? havent had one now in almost a month...please say it was the extra intake of the pill which caused all that?
