Took this picture this evening,I was going to the shop and had to swerve what looked like a dead pigeon on the road, when closer I noticed what I think is a sparrowhalk really tucking into the dead pigeon, He caused a lot of cars to slow up but he wasn't giving up his dinner :D

Great snap.

I once passed what I think was a Kestrel feasting on some road kill on a very busy secondary road. The cars were flying past in each direction but it didnt seem to car. Must have been very hungry like this one!
