I couldn't make it to the Limerick show this year. Anybody got any photos from the day ? And what sort of turnout did they get ?

Yeah , am a bit surprised that there are not any pics. I was at the show and there was an excellent turn out of cars and vws. Am sure pics will end up[ in the club website at some stage ;)

Probably , but they are separated at the Limerick show , mainly because you can get anything from a 59 beetle to an 02 Passat with subwoofers etc !!! Around 100 VWs in all though :D:cool:

Gotta say that this year’s show was only so-so. I’m a big water and air cooled VW fan and that element of the show was better in previous years. You would always be guaranteed an ex feature car from Performance VW / Golf + or Ultra VW / VolksWorld – but none this year

No sign of any cars from the Wayne Mac Stable

There are 2 brothers who usually have pretty cool vws there, their previous cars being the blue custom bug with the Saab alloys and the 50 split bug with the brass and wood interior.

Once again it was by no means rubbish, just average

Oh i just remembered that Audi 80 was pure class !!!

I have been at a few shows this year and they all seem to be a bit quieter. Not as many viewers and non exhibitors as usaul but then again all events seem a bit quieter. Quite enjoyed the quality of cars on view at the Limerick show myself :)

Actually the Best of Show VAG was the blue vr6 turbo Mk3 Golf with air
suspension which was a Golf + magazine cover car not too long ago :)

The yellow Porsche 356B was from the Wayne Mac stable

The black Audi 80 made it's debut at the show after countless hours by
its owner / builder , Trevor Brady who's on here ,who took away the Best Audi
    award for his efforts

Fair play re the Mk3 on air-ride, I must have missed that one

As for Wayne Mac. I guess I was dissapointed that the split crew cab with the new 'O'Callaghans of Kanturk' livery was not there seeing as this recently in volks-world and would have, in my opinion been a more of noticeable display than a stock porsche (albeit a fantastic example of the breed)
