    Hi all,

Entered into RAS scheme and just found out that house was broken into. Never encountered breaks in before so but I am surely right in assuming that it is the tenant's issue, not mine.

    (probably not though!)

The structure is your issue (fixing doors, windows, etc), but the contents would be down to the tenant. They should have contents insurance.

With the RAS scheme though, is it not up to the council to maintain the property?

Yeah and if it's Fingal County Council they don't replace windows... even if they're broken by other scumbag council tenants...
