    you need to open an account with a stockbroker , davy , goodbodys , bloxham , TD waterhouse , thier are loads , i was with goodbody , total rip off when it comes to commision , with TD waterhouse now , you will need to provide a copy of your passport , utility bill and probabley a copy of a bank statement , once they recieve theese items , it usually takes about a week to activate a trading account , an execution account should do , meaning you make the trade online , no need for advice from a broker as that costs money

    TD waterhouse = 1800 646582

    goodbody = 01 6410434

    As you are in Cork you could call in to Dolmen as I dealt with them before and found them good

    Is there not a two tier shares for kerry. Some of the original farmers got these and they are worth considerably more than those quoted on the stock exchange, best find that out first before trying to sell them;)

    Yes, they are called the Kerry Co-op shares and can take several months to sell as they have to be approved by the boards. They are worth a good bit more maybe 50%+ more, Ive only heard to people selling them through Davy but im sure any of the main Irish guys can do it.
