Buy an amplified indoor and try it, you can return it if it's unsuccessful.

Indoor I bought needs to be right beside a window but receives Saorview perfectly.

Outdoor always preferable though obviously more expensive with installation costs.

An outdoor aerial in an attic can be hung up by a DIYer and would work better than an indoor aerial. If it doesn't work in an attic, an installer can be got to put it up outside then.

I don't know who would install around Trim I'm afraid.

Go with an ISAA registered installer

Mullingar? I'm suprised there's no one in the ISAA in all of Meath.

I was suprised too but it is what it is. Maybe none applied, maybe none met the standards, maybe the installers don't know about it. Don't know but it's there in black and white....
