Pulled up beside my mates car while my mate was in my car with me to see a car parked behind my friends car which was blocking it in. Then I noticed two guys tried hide from me. They where trying to steal something on the car.
They where in a 97d105xx reg car, a hyundai coupe. It was the same make/model year as my friends car. The only noticeable thing on the car was a shoddy looking double tail pipe and it was a dark coloured model, either dark blue or black.
There was a women sitting in the car while the two guys would try and either steal the car or break in to try and take parts.
I am just pointing this out in case anyone around the area has a similar car as they may try another persons car. I happened in rosse court balgaddy.
Raging my mate wouldnt let me out at them but at same time Im glad as prob be in a cell know after cracking one of them in the head with a breaker bar if I did get out :P.

If they stole the reg, your mate may be liable for speeding fines, toll charges, etc?

    Make sure to report it.

Would be very easy for the Gardai to find the reg of the car based on the partial reg and vehicle description you've given.

With that, they'd know the address of the registered owner and you never know, they might be known to the local Gardai for other criminal activity.

I gave the details to my friend and Garda where informed. They told my mate that they where pulled over earlier in the day for some reason or another and shouldn't be to hard to find them so heres hoping :). Me being a dumbass I never taught to pull out my video camera that have in the dash and record them :(.
