Lightroom - Adding photos to a frame

    Hi.

I've seen people post photos here before where they have more than one photo added to it with a border/frame.
Can someone tell me how to do this and if it's possible to do it in LR?

I tried googling it, but I think I'm just searching for the wrong terms, not sure what the technical term is for these kinds of photos but I do like em.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lewis.

    They're called Diptychs or triptechs.

Having never used lightrooms Im not sure how to do it, but generally I make a canvas to the size I want, import the photos I want onto it, free transfrom them whilst holding down shift and place them where I want them!

I dont think (Although i am open to correction) you can do it in lightroom which is mainly for general image "correction" rather than any form of manipulation or design.

Photoshop (or similar type programmes) is your best bet for that.

There's a plugin call mogrify. It's a bit fiddly to install and set it up but once you do you're laughing. You add the frame and any exif data as part of the export.

I only installed it the other day and had an initial stab at it.

I've never done it myself, but I've seen articles/youtube videos about doing this in the print module of Lightroom then printing to jpeg.

As has been said already, google/youtube search for diptychs or triptychs in Lightroom and you should find what you're looking for :)

EDIT: 100 Ways Adobe Lightroom Kicks Adobe Bridge’s A$$ for Photographers!

Hit the link and go to No.63, I'm pretty sure that's what you're looking for. You'll probably learn loads from the other 99 vids as well ;)
