I recently bought a TM Burner 2.0 driver but traded it in for a TM R11 after 2 rounds. it was a lovely driver but it wasnt for me, i tend to hit my drives from left to right (not always controlled!!!) i am hitting my drives with much more confidence since i got my R11.
anyway i love the R11 after playing 3 rounds with it. i now want to upgrade my 3 wood and hybrid so i was looking for advice from anyone who has either r11 or burner 2.0 fairway or hybrid (hybrid 11 vs burner 2.0). I currently have a TM R7 CBG Max 3 wood and a nike sasq hybrid. any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi Boz, was looking at upgrading to the burner, what effect did it have on your drives?

I reckon you should go for the full R11 set if the Driver is working for you.

    Hi ssbob

i think it was me that was the problem as opposed to the driver to be fair!!!! plus i had it in my head i was going to get the R11 then at last minute changed my mind and got the Burner.
its a lovely feeling club in the hand tho and very light.
i also got a lower loft which didnt suit my normal drive which tends to go from left to right.

prob sound advice on your behalf regards to sticking to the R11 for my fairway and Rescue11, cheers

boz I have had the R11 driver since February and it is working well, I upgraded from an R9Supertri. I won the driver and to be honest I would not have paid for it. Because the driver is so good I changed my R5 3wood and ping rescue for R11 3wood and rescue a month ago and to be honest I am a little disappointed. The 3wood has all the changeable options which the driver has and i now think these are a waste of money, the rescue is good but I am seeing no difference in flight or length from my ping. I use my 3wood a lot off the tee and I think the 15.5 degree is a little high, if you hit the ball high get the 3+ wood it has a lower loft. The white heads are nice but I'm continuously wiping it because it bugs me to look down at the ball and see dirt on top of the club head.

All in all, they are expensive so if I had my time again I'd wait until the R13 comes out at the end of the year and pick up the R11 woods cheaper.
