I am currently going into 3rd year and have wanted to be a member of the garda since I can remember. I have a uncle who is a guard and have always wanted to be like him. There is a thread at the top of the Garda recruitment forum(where you started this thread) called "read before posting" or FAQs, have a look in there. It answers nearly any question you could possibly have.
