Recommend a Pro

Their has been a lot of discussion about lessons here lately so I was just wondering if people would be interested in posting up some of their experiences with Pro's for me and others to see. Things of interest would be cost/value, teaching style, swing video's etc.

I notice in the Golf Digest they have a top 100 pros section. I was just wondering is their something similar in Ireland. Who is the top pro in Ireland? Or do some simply have a better reputation than others.?

Huh I think I see what your getting at but the thread is called recommend a pro .

Defamation --- Opinion is a defense recognized in nearly every jurisdiction. If the allegedly defamatory assertion is an expression of opinion rather than a statement of fact, defamation claims usually cannot be brought because opinions are inherently not falsifiable.

Got my last lesson from Kevin Foy up in Stepaside after reading good reviews here. Found him good with the right mix of video analysis, observation and a set number of things to work on. €35 for 1/2hr however found it a bit Irish when I turned up for the lesson that I was told I'd better to buy some balls as they weren't included.
Next time I'm going to try Dave Lavelle in Spawell as equally read alot of good reviews and I saw advertisements in Spawell that the lessons were €30 for 1/2hr and balls were included.
