Just visited the nintendo site and noticed my stars total has fallen. I lost 1330 stars which expired yesterday. I didn't realise, I would have used them for some nintendo points. Raging.

In my anger I've lost the ability to spell.

That's interesting because I didn't even realise they expire - how long had you been sitting on these points before using them? I would presume in perhaps 13 months or something of inactivity Nintendo would remove the points? Although even saying that it does sound unfair.

Maybe there has been a mistake? You could write to customer support?

No mistake, I've been sitting on the stars for years. According to the website, they expire after three and a half years. Another 4500 due to expire this month. I'm looking at the mario galaxy soundtrack.
Also, I have contacted Club Nintendo. Will post response once they come back to me.

I think they cut back the time the stars last a while ago, which is sort of tedious.

That being said I've found greater annoyance with a different issue - I got robbed recently and my Wii (along with almost all my games) got nicked. I've replaced it because I use Wii Fit in the mornings and I'm not waiting several months for the insurance people before doing so, and discovered that I can't re-register any new copies of games I buy because I'd already registered them before - even though I've still bought them again. It did at least let me register the Wii, but not the Balance Board :(
