    Hey Guys and Girls,

After numerous failed attempts at trying to get a 'standard' nunchuck battery into my FAL Tactical Carbine (Folding Stock), Li-Po batteries have been brought to my attention.

Can anybody advise me in this matter? Places to buy, prices, maintenance, etc.?

    Cheers in advance,

    Keggers Senior.

    Good place is Component shop.
    http://www.component-shop.co.uk/

In thier Airsoft section, in the airsoft lipo category.

They have airsoft batteries, and airsoft lipo chargers (you NEED a lipo specific charger)

7.4v lipos equate to 9.6v nimh batteries in rate of fire. One of those, with a decent c rating (20-25) will be perfect for you,

Component shop are cheap, and do excelent batteries.

Was kinda in the same boat, cudn't find the right type of nunchuck battery pack to fit into the PEQ box i got with my HK416 so ended up buying a Li-po battery that'd fit in, as kirekitten said you'll need to buy a specific type of charger for it, i had issues trying to find a suitable adaptor seeing as it kept blowing the fuses in the ones i had, its very voltage/current specific but once you find a matching adaptor plug you'll be grand!

mine doesnt need an adaptor... if its blowing fuses im concerned that something is wrong there...

the plug that came with it was 2 pin and no use at the time i needed it so i had to find a 3 pin adaptor plug thati cud use, thing is had to find one which matched the output voltage and was in the same current range of the charger unit or else it wudn't work... stuff like that is very specific and won't work properly unless the voltages/currents match.

funnily enuf the plug for my external hard drvie is the one that works with the charger!

Bullets mentioned Component shop. Is there any particular charger I'd need, or is that battery specific?

just one of the lipo smart chargers. if its for lipos, and has a ballence point, its suitable (lipos use ballence chargers)

Or you could get one of those imax b6 battery charger which charge all batterys, rather then having different chargers around the house for different batterys :)
