Linkedin now has a feature where you can list your skills, giving level and number of years experience.
Find myself unsure of what level to say for some skills. As a rule of thumb, how many years experience would you equate with the following skill levels: beginners; intermediate; advanced; expert.

Never call yourself an expert, will save a lot of embarassment :)

Yep I think that is pretty much asking to be taken down a peg lol

Given almost all my experience has been working on solo projects in departments where I am the only person doing what I do, positioning myself at the right level is a bit of guesswork.

I have that as an excuse though, I suppose, if I am incorrect lol
