    Looking for opinions on corrosion of brake lines, not the flexable pipe but the metal end piece, would this amount of corrosion fail the NCT? ( got this pic from web but my car is in a very similar condition)

    That looks OK i think - Mine looks worse and it passed.
    I presume yours is no leaking like that one though ;)

    The corrosion in that pic wouldn't fail the nct as the unions aren't badly corroded at all, it just a tiny amount of surface rust.
