Reports suggest the UK government is to openly initiate cyber weapons production.

The UK Government has started work on creating a range of cyber weapons as it looks to beef up its arsenal to protect the nation, according to a report.
In the first official recognition of such an initiative, the Cabinet Office and Cyber Security Operations Centre at GCHQ have taken hold of the programme, sources told the Guardian today.
"We need a toolbox of capabilities and that's what we are currently developing," said armed forces minister, Nick Harvey.

Sounds to me like this is the beginning of a new phase of defence by the UK.

Cyber wars, fought by computers against computers.

Will we see dead computers everywhere?

What if it turns computer nuclear.

I would be surprised if it wasn't already in place and just being made public now.
Well at least an espionage unit of some description.
Maybe this is the fable unit that will turn off the electricity grid and loop fair city on all tv channels til the country surrenders

I'd rather a world at cyber war than one at conventional war.

I'm sure all of our computers will declare neutrality if any cyber war breaks out.
